Razu Mikhina s collections mix different shapes, colours and moods creating an eclectic urban style. Oriental influences are merged with traditional Russian ornaments. Russian lace still handmade by old ladies in the northern town of Vologda, ribbons and braid used in Russian traditional costumes and Russian felt and linen all combine with contemporary proportions to create a
sophisticated exotic post-folk look.
All fabrics, materials, trimmings and clothes are produced and manufactured in Russia.
Her latest collection showcases the trademark Razu Mikhina lace and ribbon skirts, coats and jackets as well as hand embroided ornamental and applique garments, all creating a romantic, somewhat folkloric, feminine look for next season.
My clothes are for intelligent, sophisticated women of all who want something
different and strongly individual , says the designer, Daria Razumikhina.
