JModel Management is a fashion blog that intends to depict the industry most reliably. We live in an ever-changing world where new technologies, trends, communication ways, and social aspects are constantly being implemented.
The fashion industry is no stranger to this tendency, and this cannot be overlooked. This is why JModelManagement brings a new perspective into a world that has so much history as it has a solid culture.
Beyond the frivolity that we are usually associated with, there is a whole world that vibrates with art, innovation, and commitment. This is what JModelManagement is about: this is our story.
Who we are?
We are a group of three people from London. For several years we have been working as model recruiters but have experience in modelling too.
Based in London, we have witnessed the fashion scenery around us and attended some of the most exciting events. Here we gathered not only contacts, friends, and partners, but also plenty of knowledge.
This is why we decided to create our blog where we can show our own perspectives on things. This does not exclude useful content such as tips, advice, models, and event descriptions. Yet, we want to show all this in a new light.
As fashion professionals, we have attended the most glamorous events worldwide. Besides the traditional fashion weeks, we have been to corporative events, press releases, product launchings and plenty of trade shows. We’ve been to Paris, Milan, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Antwerpen, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, and Sydney. We had a chance to see how great designers work and how make-up artists do their magic before the runway walk.
Now, we have our blog to pour down all these experiences and knowledge, collected throughout our careers.
Our vision
We see the fashion industry as mainly two things: a challenge and a reward. Nobody said it’s easy, and this goes both for beginners and top professionals. Paving your way through when you are an amateur is tricky, but so is keeping yourself at the top of the wave.
A fashion professional must always keep learning and trying new things. Maybe this is why many say that ‘a reputation is hard to build but even harder to maintain’.
However, with the struggle also comes a great reward. It takes a fashion lover to know one, and we know our community very well. This is why we support each other in this journey that, if one perseverates, brings enormous achievements and feelings of fulfilment.
This is the way that JModelManagement sees the environment that surrounds us and the vision on which we base our philosophy.
Our mission
After describing our vision, there’s nothing left to say besides our mission. In the context that we described above, we understand that the fashion scene of the 21st century is tough. Historically, it has always been difficult but the social conditions that prevail today constitute a unique picture.
The good news is that the landscape is more diverse. Now we can see different types of beauty that are not only restricted to impossible high cheekbones, blond hair, blue eyes, skinny figure and a 5’ 11’ height.
On one hand, this makes things simpler because it opens possibilities for more people. However, wide openness also means higher competition. In this scenario, JModelManagement intends to support everyone in the fashion industry and help them find their way. Our articles are meant to inspire, give ideas, and encourage the new generations to keep moving forward.
After all, fashion is not only about beauty and success, is about being creative and innovative, bold, and confident. Therefore, our mission is to bring quality content that goes beyond information and toward a new perspective on fashion and its industry.
